Having a cna certification or license  is a proof that you are indeed a professional. A license indicates that you have undergone all the necessary trainings and passed all the requirements that are needed to how to become a cna.

Lawyers, teachers, doctors, nurses- all have licenses. Today, there is a new career that also requires a license- nursing assistant.
If you are thinking to pursue this career, then you have to know all the things that you need to accomplish in order to get a license.
The first thing that you should do to get a license is to get a form in your state’s nursing aide registry, fill it up, notarize it and send it to your state’s licensing office.

Second is to get a local training verification form, send it to the school where you have undergone all the needed trainings and have them fill the form up for you. This is to ensure that the school that you have attended is part of the accredited program.

Third is to submit for a background check- this is to ensure that you have no criminal records. Submit also a medical check up, a drug test and a finger print card.

Fourth is to take an exam. If you pass the exam, you can now get your license. You have to wait for 8 weeks.
